The Richmond‑Burton Community High School District 157 Board of Education voted 4–0 to adopt the FY26 budget following a public hearing on Sept. 17, 2025. Mrs. Levendoski, the district business manager, presented the figures and highlighted revisions from the tentative budget presented Aug. 13.
The budget presentation listed total revenues of $15,985,331 and total expenditures of $16,248,000. Education revenues were shown at $11,475,331 with education expenditures of $10,556,100; transportation revenues of $2,165,000 were paired with transportation expenditures of $2,642,500. With no further questions from the board, the hearing closed at 7:22 P.M., and a motion by Jeremy Miller, seconded by Johnson, to approve the FY26 budget carried on a roll call vote (Ayes: Miller, Johnson, Martin, Holian).
