Rankin recognizes 7th‑grade constitution success; student council previews March leadership workshop

Mr. Caleb Uselton shared a video highlighting that every student in his two 7th‑grade social studies sections passed the constitution test on their first attempt; students said learning the amendments was the most challenging part of preparation.
Student Council President Olivia Myers reported the recent 'Roaring 20s' mini‑prom was well attended and previewed a Leadership Workshop to be hosted at Rankin on March 13; Myers estimated about 300 students from roughly 15 schools will attend. Principal and Athletic Director Nick Beard and other staff also reviewed extracurricular and testing preparations, including IAR testing scheduled March 9–19 and staff training led by Mrs. Lamberson.
In information items, the board received notice of assistant baseball coach Caleb Uselton’s resignation. The board congratulated teacher and students on the constitution-test results and heard the student activities update as part of regular reports.
