Dan Parr of the Highway Department presented two transportation resolutions to the board: one for 22620 Country Club Drive in Boulder Township and another for Furl Road. Parr said the projects are proceeding with a mix of township, county bridge and state funds and sought the board's approval to proceed with the letting and loan agreements.
Parr also described the Burrell Road Bridge project as a $2.5 million replacement to address a longstanding safety hazard; he said the project will be funded by federal bridge funding the county receives plus $500,000 in discretionary funding. The resolution formalizes an agreement between the state of Illinois, Tazewell County and Cincinnati Road District that specifies funding responsibilities and project roles. A motion was put on the floor and the motion passed during the meeting.
