Jennifer Reiser, presenter for the English Department, reported that over the last four years, 99% of English Literature and Composition students have passed the AP exam, and that the department's journalism students competed at the state level.
Reiser said the department plans to weave speech instruction into the sophomore curriculum rather than offering it as a separate class, continue PLC work to develop essential standards and common assessments, and reevaluate the novels being taught.
