The board also approved a separate resolution directing the Cook County Clerk to apportion any extension reduction to certain funds, a procedural step intended to preserve the board's intended allocations if the county reduces extensions. That motion was made by Jerrid Neal and seconded by TiShaunda McPherson and carried unanimously among members present.
