Richmond-Burton board approves tentative FY26 budget for public display, schedules Sept. 17 hearing

Mrs. Levendoski presented a summary of the proposed FY2025–26 budget, outlining funds and expenditures for the coming year. She answered a question from Board Member Johnson about when a Deficit Plan would be required; the minutes record that the district is not currently in need of a Deficit Plan.
Board Member Holian moved and Board Member Miller seconded a motion to approve the tentative budget for display and to set a budget hearing for Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. The roll call vote was unanimous: Ayes — Holian, Miller, Andrus, Martin, Johnson, Furlan, Holtz; Nays — 0. Motion carried 7–0.
The approval places the tentative budget on public display and schedules the statutory hearing; any changes resulting from the hearing would be addressed at a subsequent meeting.
