Superintendent reports on MAP testing, Strategic Plan Taskforce and 2026–27 calendar; State of the School presentations to begin Feb. 5

Superintendent Dr. Salemi updated the Westchester SD 92-5 Board on district assessment and planning efforts at the Jan. 15 meeting. He reported that MAP testing is underway in school buildings, the Strategic Plan Taskforce continues its work on district priorities, and administrators are finalizing aspects of the 2026–2027 school calendar.
Dr. Salemi reminded the Board that State of the School presentations will begin at the Feb. 5 Board meeting. Administrator Mrs. DelFiacco provided a timeline update on Winter Benchmarking when President Wesolowski requested additional detail.
Materials and administrator reports were made available in BoardBook. The Board noted the scheduling items and will hear the State of the School presentations as planned.
