Roll call recorded Juliene McCormick, Dawn Rath, Greg Stott, Fred Tipton, Zac Vandendooren and Jeff Woodside as present; administration in attendance included Superintendent Dr. Heidi Deininger and Principals Gunnarsson, Knop and Rein.
A motion to approve the Jan. 9, 2026 agenda was made by Zac Vandendooren and seconded by Greg Stott. "A motion to approve the January 9, 2026 agenda as presented," moved by Zac Vandendooren, passed with all members voting "Yea": Juliene McCormick, Dawn Rath, Greg Stott, Fred Tipton, Zac Vandendooren and Jeff Woodside. The board then opened the public comment period and recorded that there were no public comments.
The board outlined the session's planning framework: (1) review/revise the district mission statement; (2) develop a district vision statement; (3) identify and articulate district core values; (4) identify and develop specific action steps for broad goal areas; and (5) develop the cadence of accountability for the plan. No formal votes on the plan's content were recorded at this meeting.
A motion to adjourn, made by Jeff Woodside and seconded by Zac Vandendooren, passed and the meeting adjourned at 8:02 p.m. The minutes appended a copy of district policy 2:230 on public participation and contact information for West Carroll CUSD 314.
