Salt Creek SD 48 board accepts FY2025 audit, hears monthly financials

The Salt Creek School District 48 Board of Education voted Oct. 16 to accept the district's FY2025 Annual Financial Report after a presentation by auditors Wermer, Rogers, Doran & Ruzon LLC.
Auditors Katie Napier and Marlene Medina presented key findings, thanked district staff (including Roxanne and Hunter) for assistance during the audit, and answered board questions. Following the presentation, a motion by Mr. Blair, seconded by Mr. Van De Velde, to accept the FY2025 Annual Financial Report passed with all members voting in favor.
Business manager Ms. Jilek also presented the monthly financial statements for September, including the ISDLAF+ investment statement, revenue and expenditure reports, and student activity fund accounts. She offered to answer follow-up questions from board members and staff.
The board's acceptance of the audit completes the FY2025 reporting cycle and will be included in the district's public financial records.
