Board adopts curriculum guide changes and new course proposals for 2026–27

The Board of Education voted unanimously to approve proposed revisions and new course proposals for the 2026–2027 Curriculum Guide at its Sept. 23 Committee of the Whole and Special meeting. Assistant Principal Kylie Lindquist explained changes made to the general curriculum guide and presented new course proposals prior to the motion.
The minutes record the motion and outcome: "The Board of Education, Township High School District 208, Cook County, Illinois, approves the new course proposals for the Curriculum Guide for the 2026-2027 school year as presented in the September 23, 2025, Board Agenda Packet." Ms. Gasca moved the resolution and Ms. Hruska seconded; the vote was recorded AYE from all seven members.
Board members asked clarifying questions during the presentation; no amendments to the proposed guide were recorded in the meeting minutes, and the approved guide will be implemented for the 2026–27 school year.
