The Cicero School District 99 Board approved a comprehensive personnel report March 11 that included certified and non-certified hires, numerous retirements and resignations, leaves of absence, summer program staffing and other personnel actions.
Among certified staff listed for retirement or resignation were Diana Blaszkiewicz (effective June 30, 2030), Deborah H. Campbell (effective May 31, 2027), Sharon Gliesmann (effective June 6, 2026), Nichole M. Gross (effective June 30, 2026) and several others noted in the personnel exhibit. The board also approved leaves of absence for Megan Downey (April 27May 21, 2026), Jessica Koors (March 9May 21, 2026) and Nicole Schoeppner (Feb. 24May 7, 2026), and staffing rosters for 2026 summer school and ESY programs as presented.
The board also approved employment actions for non-certified staff including multiple part-time and full-time bus drivers and security guards, accepted a set of resignations and approved certain terminations as listed in the agenda.
Separately, the board approved a separation and settlement agreement with Jorge Rodriguez containing a waiver and release of all claims; the motion was moved by Member Moreno, seconded by Member Barrera and passed by roll call vote with all members present voting yea.
