During the public‑input portion of the April 13 meeting, Tony Seminary of Teamsters Local 179 asked to address the board regarding the district’s bus contract with Yellow Bus Group of America. Seminary read a prepared statement for roughly two to three minutes and offered to answer questions; none were asked.
Earlier in the agenda, three parents representing the Wilmington Soccer Club requested approval of a facility‑use form for a tournament scheduled May 9, 2026. That facility request appeared on the consent agenda and was approved along with other facility uses and fundraisers. The board's consent vote recorded the usual roll‑call affirmations from members present.
