The board approved multiple personnel appointments at the Dec. 8 meeting. Motions carried to hire Brody Ceh as an assistant boys basketball coach at Wilmington High School for the 2025–2026 school year (Step 2 on the salary schedule), Jordan Clark as assistant musical director and volunteer choreographer (Step 1), and Blake Harseim as a physical-education substitute teacher for the second semester. The board also approved two volunteer assistant wrestling coaches, Vince Vercelli and Travis Williams (no stipend), and named Brianna Keane a Senior Awards Night co-sponsor at one-half of Step 1 on the salary schedule.
Each hire and volunteer appointment was noted as contingent on compliance with local, state and federal guidelines, including background checks and certifications where applicable. Motions to approve these personnel items were made by Southall, Kempes, and Dziuban in separate votes as listed in the minutes.
