Superintendent Dr. Ganan told the board that the calendar committee preferred taking March 26 and April 5 as non-student attendance days and had recommended moving the last day of student attendance to Tuesday, June 1, while the draft aligns with Lyons Township in several holiday and conference placements.
Board members discussed the committee feedback and alignment with neighboring district scheduling before voting to adopt. The calendar adoption was approved with all present members voting aye; Dr. Robert Sherman was absent.
