The La Grange Elementary School District 105 Board of Education adopted its 2025–26 budget by unanimous roll-call vote at a regular meeting on Sept. 22, 2025. The fiscal year covers July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
Steven Smidl opened the budget portion of the meeting and summarized the proposal, saying, "The budget remains the same as presented to the Board previously." The board had opened and then closed a public hearing on the budget earlier in the meeting; no members of the public raised questions during the hearing. After motions and a roll-call vote, trustees recorded all AYE votes and the budget was adopted.
The action fulfills the board's statutory responsibilities for fiscal planning for the coming school year. The district will proceed with implementation under the parameters presented and will post required documents as part of routine financial transparency.
