The South Harrison Community School Board approved several construction-related items Feb. 3, including pay applications and multiple facility projects.
Under New Business the board approved Pay Application 6 for James L. Shireman, Inc., Pay Application 16-C and 18-D for Seufert Construction and Supply Company, Inc., and other vendor items such as Conrad Brothers Moving & Storage, LLC. The board also approved interior painting projects at South Central Junior/Senior High School and Corydon Central High School and several RoofLynx items including curb deletions, insulation replacement and a color change at New Middletown Elementary. In each case the board approved the work "as submitted" and granted administration discretion to determine the funding source where noted.
Superintendent Dr. Mark Eastridge updated the board on current construction progress and thanked parents, staff and students for flexibility during recent eLearning days. He also praised students who participated in a Martin Luther King Jr. celebration at Corydon Presbyterian Church and reminded the board of an upcoming Safe & Inclusive meeting on Feb. 4, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
The minutes do not include dollar amounts for the specific pay applications beyond the vendor references; details and project budgets likely reside in procurement files and contract records maintained by the administration.
