Dr. Beverlin told the Facilities Committee that "the Ashbrook wall design is not what was originally discussed." The committee heard that the current design options came from construction manager PJ Hoerr and that they raise structural or scope concerns requiring further review.
Dr. Freeman recommended obtaining a second opinion from another structural engineer. The committee agreed and recorded that either Dr. Freeman or Dr. Beverlin will authorize PJ Hoerr to arrange that review. No budget, timeline, or specific engineering firms were named during the discussion.
