The Dakota CUSD 201 Board unanimously approved a $2,500-per-year donation for three years from State Bank of Davis and a separate $1,470 memorial donation in memory of Greg Reuber to fund the installation of shot clocks. The motions were introduced and passed during the new-business portion of the agenda.
The board also approved donations of championship banners from Mark Peiffer and Prairie State Investments, hired Braxton Niedermeier as the bass-fishing coach at $856.00, and approved a $25-per-sport increase to high-school sports fees for the 2026–27 school year. All votes on these items were recorded as 7-0 in favor.
