Items approved in the consent package included: a $250 donation from Community National Bank to the Chanute Middle School vocal music program; a $600 donation from the First Presbyterian Church to the same program; a $2,000 donation from the First Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund for the School Nurse Fund; a $1,500 donation from the First Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund to assist student lunch accounts; an anonymous $150 donation for the Peacemaker Award at Chanute Middle School; a $10 donation from Labette Bank for Chanute Elementary classroom supplies; approval to accept a $2,000 grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield Kansas Foundation to fund the PBIS program at Chanute Elementary; and authorization to surplus and properly dispose of 56 boys and 58 girls middle-school jerseys bearing the Rocket logo.
