The Chanute Unified School District 413 Board of Education voted Jan. 12 to accept the district's 2024–25 fiscal audit and authorized Board President Cassandra Cleaver to sign the 2025 Management Representation Letter on the board's behalf. The motion was made by board member Bri Leroy and seconded by Dr. Bruce Lee; the minutes record the vote as Yea: 7, Nay: 0.
"I move to accept the fiscal audit for 2024-2025 as presented and allow Board President Cassandra Cleaver to sign the 2025 Management Representation Letter on behalf of the Board," said board member Bri Leroy when she moved the measure. The board's minutes note representation from Neil Phillips of Jarred, Gilmore and Phillips, PA in connection with the audit presentation.
