Winfield SD 34 approves personnel moves, coaching hires and a three-year Educlimber subscription

The board accepted the resignation of soccer coach Travis Hobbs and approved hiring Carlos Allen, Cameron Rich and Zach Wiegele as middle-school soccer coaches at $20 per hour. The board also appointed stipend positions and approved two boys' basketball coaches, Brad Cheehy and Brett Foley, at stipends of $2,340 each.
The board approved a three-year subscription with Renaissance Learning for the Educlimber data-analysis suite at a cumulative cost of $14,057.56. The motion for the contract was made by Matt Tibble and seconded by Heather Armstrong and passed by roll call. These personnel and contract approvals were recorded in the minutes and will be implemented by the district's administrative staff.
