"This helps the county's housing rehabilitation department carry out its mission of assisting the elderly, veterans, single parents, those with disabilities, and others in our community who need urgent home repair assistance," Gobb said.
Gobb noted that, since the program began, "Gaston County has rehabbed 115 homes," and added that more than 20,000 homeowners across North Carolina have received help through the statewide program.
