Staff member (S2) explained that because a grant was cut, the admin position and associated FICA and benefits were moved into the 11.22 user-fee fund. S2 said the move was partly to prevent overspending the grant on benefits and to align charges to the appropriate fund. The committee agreed to keep current employee pay lines as reflected in the award letter so the grant budget remains consistent.
