President Carrillo said the agenda would remove a duplicate consent entry (item AL) and an AI policy action item that the board already approved. She asked for approval "with those 2 items removed," and the board voted in favor. Several trustees said the online agenda and printed versions differed because Diligent's numbering protocol changed during a platform transition.
Trustee Huerta said she was not notified of the last-minute change and asked to be alerted in a timely manner. "All I'm asking then as a trustee, if there's a change to the agenda that we are notified in an appropriate timely manner," she said. Trustees also walked through multiple consent items to correct numerical and dollar-amount errors before approving the consent calendar with modifications.
Multiple trustees noted that some agenda attachments were present but the Diligent hyperlinks sometimes jump to other items, confusing the public and trustees. Staff said the attachments exist and confirmed they would contact the vendor to fix linking. The board approved the revised agenda and later approved the consent calendar after making agreed corrections.
