The Summit SD 104 Board of Education met in special session Jan. 13 at Walsh Elementary School and approved its consent agenda and several financial and personnel items. The meeting was called to order by President William D. Green at 7:01 P.M., and roll call showed Members Hernandez, Cahue, Rangel, Dardovski, Johnstone and Green present; Member Davis was recorded as absent.
On Motion #21,690 the board approved the consent agenda (items A–H), recorded as moved by Member Davis and seconded by Member Hernandez; the roll call recorded unanimous approval. The consent agenda included a brief note honoring "Winter Haynes" for ongoing donations. The board then approved the personnel report (Motion #21,691) and financial items including certified and classified payrolls totaling $1,582,752.06 for December 2025 (Motion #21,692) and monthly bills totaling $930,412.92 for December 2025 (Motion #21,693). All votes were recorded as unanimous yeas by the members present.
