Millside Elementary: PLCs forming, PTO fundraiser kickoff and fire-safety plans announced

Amber Palicke told the board that PLCs are starting to prepare student groups and that the PTO kickoff for the "Rise of the Muskrats" fundraiser occurred that day. She said students recently enjoyed a Science Alive visit and that the fire department will visit in October to discuss fire prevention.
Palicke's update was informational. The district will coordinate the scheduled safety and outreach visits through building schedules and PTO activities.
