Board President Terry Boni opened the Oct. 20 meeting at 6:30 p.m. and noted the agenda was accepted with no changes; Boni said, "The Chair does reserve the right to amend the Agenda."
Stacie Weitting, the BEA representative, presented points of pride for the district. Boni reviewed the results of the biennial board self-assessment, describing its role in improving board dialogue and clarifying responsibilities. Superintendent Brent R. Noskey praised the marching band, highlighted that Math and Science Night at Ellis Elementary drew about 650 attendees, announced the high school drama production "Puffs" for Nov. 13–15 and that the district will host the first round of football playoffs on Oct. 31. The meeting concluded with a unanimous voice vote to adjourn at 7:28 p.m.; Douglas W. Lamborne later signed the minutes on Nov. 17, 2025.
