The Buildings & Grounds committee reported progress on multiple capital and maintenance projects at the Nov. 10 board meeting.
Officials said Lake Ann gym doors have been installed and Betsie Valley's kitchen door remained incomplete; remaining aluminum doors are scheduled for spring break installation. Temperature‑control systems at Lake Ann and the middle school were mapped online for remote control. Two of four summer‑2026 contracts are signed; the locker contract was modified to reduce the locker count by 100. A concrete‑seam crack in the bus‑garage wash bay will be repaired over winter break.
The committee noted continuing coordination with contractors to complete remaining work and finalize color and finish details for door and curtain installations.
