Chelsea School District board elects officers for 2026; all votes unanimous

The Chelsea School District Board of Education on Jan. 12 unanimously elected its 2026 officers. Erin Hunt-Carter was elected president after a motion by Sara Tracy and a second from Michelle Craig; Glenn Fox was elected vice president (motion by Erin Hunt-Carter; second by Sara Tracy); Sara Tracy was elected secretary (motion by Michelle Craig; second by Heidi Reyst); and Michelle Craig was elected treasurer (motion by Heidi Reyst; second by Nicolia Heineman). Each vote was recorded as 7–0 in favor.
Board members took the votes at the start of the regular meeting held at the WSEC, 500 Washington St. The elections followed roll call and adoption of the meeting agenda; the meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by the presiding chair. The recorded unanimity leaves the board with its leadership team set for the calendar year.
