Board members debated whether the policy should read "Harrison-based" or "Harrison-affiliated" to ease enforcement and whether a maximum banner size should be stated rather than preferred. "So it this allows signs with a similar message within 30 feet of each other in the right way," one member said while examining the redundancy language.
The board agreed to treat the document as a first reading, asked Kristen (staff) to review it and return with minor wording edits and clarifications about state right-of-way rules and school-district references before a future vote.
