The Dundee Community Schools Board of Education unanimously approved an "Effective" evaluation for Superintendent Leach and extended his contract through June 30, 2030. The action adopted the closed-session evaluation findings from Dec. 4, 2025 and passed on a 7-0 roll call.
Board member Keith Pilbeam moved to approve the evaluation and extension; Tara McKenzie seconded the motion. The board recorded seven yeas and no nays. The transcript records no additional public discussion beyond the motion and vote.
The superintendent also provided operational updates in the same meeting: he said high school bleachers removed over Thanksgiving will be replaced around the first week of February, the district is researching an increase to the superintendent's emergency spending authority, and a bus driver who slipped after a stall was being supported while Auxilio provides a temporary replacement driver.
