At the March 23 meeting, Superintendent Dr. Jeff Thoenes presented multiple recognitions. He designated School Social Workers Month, announced Julia Vanderelzen as the Compass High School Employee of the Year, and noted that Shirley Doorlag received the Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Administrative Assistant of the Year award.
Thoenes also relayed a special tribute from the State of Michigan for SRO Noble.
