Comstock recognizes students, staff and Key Club advisor at March 9 meeting

The Comstock Board of Education used its March 9 meeting to highlight student and staff achievements. Superintendent Dr. Jeff Thoenes announced Students of the Month from across district programs: Elana Jackson (CELA, Pre-K); AJ Sherrod (CES, 1st Grade); Spencer Reed (STEM, 1st Grade); Joshua Russcher (CMS, 7th Grade); Kamden Law (CHS, 9th Grade); Riyan Clark (CVA, 7th Grade); and Violet Whitmeyer (Compass, 11th Grade). The board also noted a Staff of the Month recognition program.
In other recognitions Dr. Thoenes announced that Abigail Osborn received the Michigan Key Club Advisor of the Year Award, and the board gave a special tribute to SRO Noble from the State of Michigan. These acknowledgments were presented as agenda recognitions and do not represent formal board actions requiring votes.
