The Bridgman Public School District Board of Education voted to award construction contracts for the district's Aquatic Center project, approving a total project cost of $3,440,730.00.
At the Dec. 15 regular meeting, Member Nancy Hawley moved — and Member Wayne Hall supported — approval of three contracts: Andy J. Egan for the mechanical contract at $849,500.00; Beaudoin Electrical for the electrical contract at $345,760.00; and Roggow Construction for the general trades contract at $2,245,470.00. The motion carried 6-0 with all six board members present voting in favor.
Board members did not attach conditions in the minutes beyond the approvals. The motion did not specify phasing or estimated construction start and completion dates in the meeting record. The board packet referenced the project as the Aquatic Center bid project presented by Superintendent Peters.
