Pathway of Pride renderings advance; committee weighs brick replacement and booster partnership

The committee received an update on the Pathway of Pride project. Staff and consultants (Kingscott) are developing design renderings and the district will forward those renderings to Hazelhoff Builders for cost estimating.
Two approaches were discussed: remove existing bricks, install a concrete base, then replace bricks; or build a brick wall display. Committee members flagged safety concerns with the existing bricks and discussed funding and collaboration with the Athletic Boosters; a meeting with boosters will be scheduled to discuss participation and next steps.
