Dan Tryles of Kingscott told the Gull Lake Community Schools Facilities Committee that the district’s facilities planning timeline is “structured around a potential May 2027 bond election,” and outlined key milestones including a Treasury Department meeting and completion of financial projections and analysis ahead of a November 2026 Board decision.
Tryles said meetings with building principals to identify facility needs are complete and that Miller-Davis is preparing project cost estimates, with preliminary information expected to be shared with the Board this summer. The Committee also reviewed plans for a community survey to be conducted with EPIC-MRA and requested an athletics needs list developed with district staff to inform the bond scope.
