Plante Moran Realpoint presented a package of recommendations for Grosse Ile High School renovation work, including food-service equipment updates, audio/visual upgrades and proposed scaffolding use during construction. The consultant told the board which bid packages are recommended and said the winning bids will be presented for approval at the next regular meeting.
The consultant also presented an addendum with quotes from move-management vendors (Move Management Services and Morise Moving) to handle early movement of materials and equipment at GIHS. No contract awards or formal board approvals were recorded in the Feb. 10 work session; staff indicated the recommendations will be advanced for formal bidding or award at a future regular meeting.
