Manistee board approves $1.60 million pay application for construction work

Business Manager Mr. Vaas told the board that Christman will conduct a final review after the board's approval and that the business office is finishing the last construction invoices. He said the punch list remains under work and "payments will be released once the punch list has been completed." Dr. Paul Antal moved to approve the pay application; Ms. Jess Stallings supported the motion, and the board carried it.
The payment covers construction work associated with the district project; Mr. Vaas said the business office is also preparing budget amendments in related areas that "need more review." The board did not record an itemized vote tally in the meeting minutes beyond the motion carrying.
