Suzy Barrett, Special Education Supervisor, presented the KRESA Parent Advisory Committee Award to Jenna Kahila, Kellogg Elementary speech and language pathologist; nominees included Chauntelle Boot, Tonya McCullin, Jodie Perrin and Stacy Robbins.
Assistant Superintendent Drew Bordner reported that the district’s 5th-grade PLTW program welcomed STARBASE Battle Creek as a partner for STEAM education. The board noted the partnership in committee reports and expressed anticipation for continued work between the district and STARBASE.
