Board approves $161,325 in technology purchases and $64,595 GLMS clocks bid

The Gull Lake Community Schools Board approved technology purchases for 2026–27 totaling $161,325, to be acquired after July 1 as part of Technology Bond Series 2. The Curriculum Committee brought the recommendation, and Vice President Desiree LaDuke moved approval on the committee's behalf.
Separately, the board accepted a $64,595 bid from The DataCom Group, Inc. to install clocks at Gull Lake Middle School, presented by Supervisor of Technology Services Mike Stephayn. Both motions passed unanimously.
Trustee John McCann also reported that all planned bond projects have been completed and that remaining funds will be directed to band furniture and improvements to the GLMS courtyard; Ryan Intermediate skylight replacement will begin in June as part of 2025 sinking-fund work.
