Board approves PowerSchool litigation agreement; superintendent says any recovery returns to general fund

The Dundee Community Schools Board approved a PowerSchool litigation agreement on Nov. 10. The motion was made by Carol Reaume and seconded by Kimberly Wilkins and passed unanimously among present members.
Mr. Leach explained the purpose of the vote was to approve the sign-on for PowerSchool and that "any amount given will go back to the general fund, which is the original fund where the original payment came from." The board recorded no further conditions or allocations in the meeting minutes.
The action authorizes district administration to proceed with the settlement agreement as presented; financial returns, if any, will be credited to the general fund per administration's statement.
