The Dundee Community Schools Board voted to approve a resolution supporting the MCISD Technology Enhancement millage renewal for the Nov. 26 ballot. The board approved the motion on a unanimous voice vote (6'0yea, 0'nay, 1 absent); Carol Reaume moved the motion and Tara McKenzie seconded it.
Mr. Leach explained the measure "is to support the renewal of the ISD that is on the Tuesday, November 26th ballot" and noted the millage rate discussed by the board was .986 mills; members said it was verified as a renewal rather than a new levy.
The endorsement is a local board resolution in support of the ISD renewal; the resolution does not itself levy new taxes for Dundee but records the district board's position ahead of the county-wide ballot.
