The board approved adding meeting times to the agenda and agreed to revisit the topic at a study session on April 22. President Jim Thompson said participation in the District Guiding Coalition meeting earlier that day was "informative and interesting," and the board encouraged members to attend the May 13 meeting.
Superintendent Stoneman raised the issue of two outstanding snow days and proposed using two professional development days in lieu of adding student makeup days in the summer. "Mr. Stoneman proposes that the makeup days be two professional development days instead of students," the minutes state; he said he is working with the Association and does not expect legislation to forgive those days at this time.
