Dr. Kristen Peterson, principal of Graveraet Elementary, summarized building-level progress and building goals for 2025-26. She said Graveraet currently serves 293 students and described the school's Tiered Social, Emotional & Behavioral Health framework, including Tier 1 supports, a focus on family partnerships and use of data to measure progress.
Peterson highlighted school activities such as the Lego League, the upcoming school store planned for January, and a Star Positive Office Referral system that recognizes student behavior each Monday. She described the Shining STAR behavior framework (Safety, Teamwork, Always respectful, Responsible, Stay positive) and said staff use Educlimber to track incidents and positive referrals. "There are currently 293 students," Peterson said as she reviewed enrollment and the building's goals.
