Lakeshore Board re-elects Rachel Wade as president, names officers for 2026

President Rachel Wade was re-elected by the Lakeshore Board of Education at its Jan. 12, 2026 organizational meeting.
Jason Beckrow nominated Rachel Wade for president; after no other nominations the board closed nominations and, as recorded, "Beckrow moved to elect Rachel Wade as President, supported by Scott Allan. Motion carried." The board then filled the remaining officer posts: Jessica Bigley was elected vice president, Lori VonKoenig was elected secretary and Griffin Ott was elected treasurer following nomination and supporting motions recorded in the meeting minutes.
The elections were held during the organizational portion of the regular meeting and all officer motions were carried by the board without any recorded nays. The newly elected officers will serve under the board's 2026 by-laws and meeting schedule adopted the same night.
The meeting record lists the board membership present for the vote: President Rachel Wade; Vice President Jason Beckrow; Treasurer Griffin Ott; Secretary Lori VonKoenig; and Trustees Bill Scaletta, Jessica Bigley and Scott Allan.
