Animal Services Director Danielle Ashcraft presented the February financial and intake report, saying receipts totaled $3,345 for the month—4 adoptions at $1,000, donations of $2,225, and $120 in other funds.
Ashcraft said the shelter currently houses 36 dogs after taking in 33 during the reporting period, with 16 animals leaving the shelter (6 adoptions, 2 rescues, and 8 returned to owners). She announced upcoming outreach events: the 12th annual Paws United Pet Expo in Radcliff on April 11, Lou Adopt in Louisville on May 9, and the 2nd annual fairgrounds car show on May 16. "We also have the 2nd annual car show at the fairgrounds on May 16," Ashcraft said.
