Principal outlines middle school goals on academics, curriculum review and student wellness

Middle School Principal Dan Caudle presented annual goals aligned to the district Strategic Plan, saying the priorities are improved student achievement, a stronger, data-driven curriculum, and regular check-ins to provide targeted instructional support. "the focus is on improving student achievement, strengthening curriculum, and using data and regular check-ins to guide instruction and provide targeted support," Caudle said.
Caudle also highlighted growth and sustainability work such as developing a curriculum review cycle and assessing district facilities, and culture and community initiatives including antibullying efforts, staff recognition, professional development, and enhanced family communications via Bloomz. He said departments will produce action plans this spring and present them to the board in June.
