Staff report: staffing lists, third-party coaches and enrollment shifts ahead of school start

Cindy presented a staffing packet that included allocations at the secondary and elementary levels and a funding key indicating how each position is paid. She told the board the lists reflect part-time splits and that the true headcount can differ from full-time equivalent positions, giving Monroe High as an example of notable recent variation.
Trustees asked about new coaching positions and whether they are district employees. Staff said most coaches are provided and paid by third parties (Edustaff) even though the district coordinates time reporting through systems such as Red Rover. Cindy said the district has moved payroll/HR responsibilities in-house for many functions and will continue cross-department collaboration on hires and funding.
