District staff provided measurements to the board and a capacity estimate: about 2,000 feet to the first turn and roughly 4,500 feet for a full loop, with a parent pickup lane of about 2,800–3,000 feet. Staff estimated vehicle capacity using a 20-foot-per-vehicle assumption and said the configuration would be double-lane in parts to allow inbound and outbound flow. Trustees raised safety questions including the need for crossing guards and canopy coverage for wet days; staff said they would explore those items as part of a late-September/early-October follow-up.
