Swan Valley board adopts agenda, approves minutes and treasurer’s report

The Swan Valley School District Board of Education adopted the meeting agenda as presented and approved routine consent items during its Aug. 21 regular session. JoAnn Schneider moved to adopt the agenda, seconded by Michael Wenzel; the motion carried 7-0. The board then approved the July 17, 2025 regular minutes following a motion by Heather Farr and second by Jeffrey Whelton, and voted 7-0 to receive and file the treasurer’s report after a motion from Kevin Shanks and a second from JoAnn Schneider.
Those procedural actions took place at the start of the meeting in a sequence the board uses to establish its formal record. The roll call showed seven board members present and identified administrators Alison Cicinelli, Ann Messing and Craig Blower as in attendance.
